A word about

repairs!!!

We are not always the first shop to repair your bike. Most of the work we do is a result of a prior job done elsewhere that has gone bad. A great deal of our work is on bikes that have had a lot of amateur hands on them. Often, we spend a lot of additional time trying to figure out what the last knucklehead did. Sometimes this gets rather involved. If this occurs, normal quoted prices do not apply. I cant tell you how many times we have overhauled carbs only to find out that some shade tree mechanic ran a drill through a critical passage and enlarged a metering hole. We don’t have a crystal ball when it comes to these things. If you bring us a bike that has had this sort of thing done, expect to pay more. It is only fair.
My goal is to treat your bike like it was mine. That means to do the best job possible. If this takes extra time on my own bike, I fix it. Time is money so expect to pay more to get this kind of service. After all, your name is on the title.
